Lots of people try and fail to lose weight for a number of reasons. These reasons are often a mystery (unconscious), making it difficult for us to overcome them. Hypnotherapy for weight loss aims to shine a light on these reasons, allowing you to finally break through barriers that may have been preventing you from losing weight for many years.

Over the course of approximately six sessions, firstly we work together on being clear about what represents success. This is most likely to about the goal weight in terms of a number, but there are other factors to consider such as how you want to feel and want to look.

Secondly, we work on the timescale and create a clear pathway from today to that date in the future. This is the journey. We can visualise this success, which is very powerful hypnotic tool.

Thirdly, we explore the challenges you face and any barriers to success. We work on these to reframe them (essentially remove them).

This gives you an indication of some of the techniques and all are positive. Hypnotherapy is about what you want and can do (as opposed to what you can’t have and don’t want).

Partly the sessions are conversation (top down) and partly the sessions are conducted under hypnosis (bottom up). Essentially creating a two-fold approach that works on both our conscious and unconscious motivation and cues.
